Attorney Hallisey’s practice includes Domestic Relations, Social Security Disability, and Civil Litigation. She has handled many high conflict divorce and parenting cases. She has also been able to assist many deserving individuals obtain Social Security Disability benefits despite being faced with tough Administrative Law Judges, Vocational Experts, and Medical Experts. Ms. Hallisey has Social Security cases pending at Appeals, Appeals Council and Federal Court levels.
Prior to joining Waystack Frizzell, Attorney Hallisey spent over three years as a Legal Aid attorney with New Hampshire Legal Assistance, traveling throughout the entire North Country to assist disabled individuals and survivors of domestic abuse with their legal issues. She has also worked with the Legal Advice and Referral Center and currently volunteers there.
In 2013, Attorney Hallisey received the Pro Bono Rising Star award from the New Hampshire Bar Association for her volunteer work. Attorney Hallisey has spent many hours each month meeting with and advising victims of domestic violence at the local crisis center through the DOVE Project’s North Country Outreach.
Attorney Hallisey and her family, including a Bernese Mountain Dog and a gentle old Rottweiler, reside in Coos County, New Hampshire. The family fell in love with the area after spending many enjoyable family vacations camping in Millsfield and Colebrook.
Attorney Hallisey graduated Magna Cum Laude from Eastern Nazarene College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration before receiving her Juris Doctorate Degree from The University of Massachusetts Law School. (formerly Southern New England School of Law) She also pursued her Master’s Degree in Accounting from Southern New Hampshire University.
