Biography

When not attending classes at Vermont Law School, Rebecca was honing her courtroom skills with real world clients. While still a student, Rebecca interned for the Civil Rights Unit of the Vermont Attorney General’s Office, the Chittenden County State’s Attorney’s Office, and the Vermont Defender General’s Office.

Rebecca graduated Magna Cum Laude from Vermont Law School. During her time in law school, she served as the Editor in Chief of the Vermont Journal of Environmental Law and President of Vermont Law School’s Equal Justice Foundation. During Rebecca’s second year of law school, she co-authored an article with David Mears, now the Executive Director of Audubon Vermont. The article, Lessons for Lake Champlain from Chesapeake Bay: Returning Both Waters to the “Land of Living,” was one part of a larger book focused on the effects of and ways to combat nutrient pollution in our nation’s waters. At the conclusion of her final semester of law school, Rebecca was awarded the Marc Mihaly Environmental Leadership Award.

Rebecca and her wife Tiffani moved to the North Country in 2015, when they fell in love with all the beauty our community has to offer. When away from the office, Rebecca enjoys her time hiking through the beautiful white mountains with her dog Louis, mountain biking, playing guitar, bird watching, boxing (yes, boxing), and hanging out on her deck with her Siamese Tabby cat, Burton.

Primary Practices

We are experienced in protecting the rights of people who have suffered injuries and we know how to get results. We know that insurance companies react when the suit is brought—and often are willing to offer top dollar to prevent meaningful cases from going to trial. In injury cases, our fees are usually based on a percentage of recovery so that you don’t have to pay anything until your case is finished. We will keep you informed and work with you. We have the resources and the support staff to assist you along every step in the process.
